About me

I'm Jill, also known as Jillveon! I've had a passion for costuming for years and have been cosplaying since 2014. I cosplay from a wide variety of media, but idol anime has become my favorite to create costumes from. I'm based in the Midwest and attend a few conventions a year like Anime Iowa and Colossalcon. I started competing in cosplay masquerades in 2016 and have been honored to have won several awards since then! I have a variety of professional experience I am able to draw on for my commissions and personal projects: I have a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts and Costume Design, and have worked in multiple boutiques doing bridal alterations. I strive to learn more from every build I do and challenge myself with new techniques while still having fun! I also love to share my cosplay knowledge, so I create tutorials from time to time and always welcome any questions about anything I've made. Since 2018, I've been offering cosplay commissions to create custom builds for my clients.  Cosplay brings me so much joy and I want to share that with others in every way I can!
